wow.... Plover, what is that "cereal" Chaos, third row, last one on the right, is that a custom??? I LOVE IT!!!
Yes i am on the DSCI4 board. My name is Decypher haha. I should have figured you would be into DNB with a name like Kontact. I grabbed that record out of my collection which badly needs organizing. I have about 400+ DNB records 2002-2006 but iève been listening since 96. Mainly dancefloor hits, liquid, neurofunk and the heavy tech itch and dylan stuff. Neurofunk was really where i concentrated on though. Not much has made me crazy lately though.
Anyone want to give me some info on that first mutant head up there and that mutant chaos three rows down on the right that looks like decaying wood. Oh man they are so nice.
Does anyone know whats the story with the armless purple fig in the last row, first one on the left???
1.) The chaos that looks like rotting wood is a BEAUTIFUL custom done by plover. 2.) The headless thing is a what the figures look like before they get cut. Its a mutant body. That one was painted by koji as he used it as a test and then sold it here. 3.) The first head pictured from plover is the Alpha Knight. He is part of a set that goes with a rare bigaro. Here is a pic : Hope this helps
THANKS Professor LASH!!! So the "head" piece is just extra vinyl? And it's painted by Koji? Wowo, that's a super rare RFSO collectors piece!!!
Esp since it he sold it for .... 25 bucks yeah thats the way the bodies look before they are cut. Pretty cool right
Nope, set is production pieces - Head use to be a fairly easy find but has kinda dried up now. Bigaro was a limited release like 13 pieces. I have seen a Evil also but I think that was a custom or a very low run
The yellowish-green Mutant Head in the bottom right is still my favorite colorway of that figure. I'm a sucker for anything Kamen Rider-inspired, and the Kame Bazooka colors on that figure are genius.
Yeah I've seen that evil hiding in a pic also. I'm going with a one off... or I hoping so, this way I can forget ever getting him.
No problem, I thought there would be some others relieved with the news. I asked Mori about it and he told me that there was never a production run of the Alpha Evil. And where is Greg Sage these days? If you do talk to him tell him thanks for making some of the best records ever.
I stayed away for as long as I could. Saying things to myself like "Blah, all those sculpts just recycle bits and pieces." "Those look awful -- Who could like such a haphazard paint application?" "What's the draw of these toys, anyway?" I gave up and in. This thread, along with some of the recent releases has piqued my interest. I have fallen head over heels for RxH now. Here is my first, in the impending army, waiting for his comrades: Now accepting donations.
it's nice to see the blue guy in there Tim. I was missing him the other day when I was cleaning my shelves out...then I realized what I had traded him for...hehe your collection looks fantastic!
