There are way too many to ask what the run size of each is, but if there's a list would someone be kind enough to link me? Seeing as there probably isn't a comprehensive list I was just wondering if someone could tell me what they think the average run size is.

The Checklist will give you some sort of feel for how hard they are to come by... although once in awhile one won't surface for awhile and next thing you know a few pop up for sale at once.

Runs vary in size. The pattern I have noticed is to release a vey limited figure, get everybody in a frenzy, then release a few large runs. So initially, you never really know . Get em if you like em, don't just get em b/c you think they are rare. If you get something you like and it turns out to be rare, that's gravy.

Was the Bloodpirate, The white GID Balzac Obake, Black Mask Ranger Brain or the Silver/Gold Bagman the limited figure? . . . they were all kinda intense?

Fingers crossed that any V-Day/White-Day releases are a lil' more user friendly!

Blue Skullbrain ranger, white damage ranger (small runs), then red bagman, green Barbarian, orange pumpkin (large runs), then Silver mantis, black mask (small runs) then gold mantis (large runs). Silver bagman was a smaller run than the gold, but I do not no how they were originally released in japan (before shockrworld had them afterwards, same thing for the Blazac Obakes).

I am not screaming conspiracy or bitching - I was simply saying that SB mixes up the numbers and keeps it a mystery to keep things interesting and that if you end up with a rare figure, that's just icing on the cake (is that a better food metaphor?)

If you got one there were enough, if you didn't they were too limited.

Yeah, I know what you're talking about. I never buy anything just because it's rare. Coincidentally I can't afford anything too rare anyway XD. I just wanted to know out of curiosity.

Yeah I agree 100%, but I guess with more JPN/SB converts even the not so limited runs disappear pretty quick!

    Somebody mention cake? :D

150 is a big run, they almost never make more than 200.

50 is on the small side these days.

    Interesting observation.
I think the secret run numbers are all marketing myself.
I just buy what appeals to me and never desire to be a completist.

this is some misguided logic. I am pretty sure all the rangers had a similar run size except the silver mantis. You are just thinking that the popular designs are small runs because they sold more. the red bagman, green barbarian and orange pumpkins just didn't sell as well. they are weaker designs. silver bagman and gold I am pretty sure about the same size run too. silver was just sold more at the store than the gold and the gold hit the SWW website.

I think the Damaged Masked Ranger was the weakest of the series, it was just because it was a damage brain it went so quick. The Barbarian Ranger was one of the betters.

I am getting a little cynical of the run size thing though. It never worried me earlier, but with the amount of releases and the odd shady quality issue (IMO) creeping in, I do wonder if the "rarity" is as it was.
Having said that, I'm cynical at the best of times, so I may be going on about nothing.
