Re: Shikaruna Koubo Database Tell me about it- Im on the look ou for a purple also, I could have bought one about 3 times over when I was in Japan and have regretted it since. And to get back to the discussion from the other thread- I was mistaken, I double checked and there do only seem to be 2 different colours of the Frankenstein- I was thinking the one with the green skin and orange/red outfit actually had black skin for some reason.

Re: Shikaruna Koubo Database It's a long story, but there are three different colorways of Marine Kong out there. I highly doubt that any more will be made. Are they up that high now? The last few that I saw sold for $200-250.

Re: Shikaruna Koubo Database Heard there's was a license dispute bet SK and the whoever held the rights. It was produced once with 2 colorways?, and that's it. Its going to be very hard to find one. I'm not even putting it on my list If I ever see one its like take no prisoners.

Re: Shikaruna Koubo Database Yesterday I received one of the red Genju Dororu (aka Dorol). I have to report that I'm pretty underwhelmed. There are at least 15 paint chips on mine, and the thing barely stands on it's own. due to it's un-even feet and front-heaviness. Drag. hype - 1 hypermook - 0
Re: Shikaruna Koubo Database I had the same uneven foot issue with my red dororu, only I got mine from YJA. So it might have been a production issue. Dororu's tend to be top heavy so the long arms almost serve to balance the figure and keep it from falling. You can't really 'pose' them. Can't comment on the chipped paint. That's not really cool.
Re: Shikaruna Koubo Database I was gonna buy the red, but then the pound crashed and all the prices/ exchange rates went up by a third- and I didnt bother. After reading that Im glad as I probably would have felt I would have wasted my money. Cant wait for some new colourways though- with a sculpt like that you can get really creative with the colours because of the ammount of texture there is- And I know the SK guys can create mind blowing colour schemes. Also can you imagine a clear? its the stuff dreams are made of.
Re: Shikaruna Koubo Database So sorry to hear about that I received one today and it seems to be chip free. Did you get yours through Lulubell? After looking at this guy for so long...I feel like I'm the last person on the planet to finally get one, but I'm pretty happy with it. I do think the colors on the face/skull parts are a little drab. The red is real nice though. Can't wait to do my glowy picture thing with it!
