Had this sitting around on my shelf for a while. Finally decided to rotocast it. I wanted a soft shape like [expletive deleted] but more gruesome. I am hoping to make some more. front by happiness bastard, on Flickr rotocast Shitball unpainted by happiness bastard, on Flickr Rototcast and painted "shit ball" by happiness bastard, on Flickr Rototcast and painted "shit ball" by happiness bastard, on Flickr Rototcast and painted "shit ball" by happiness bastard, on Flickr
i really like how it is blank- i think when you painted it with the paint pens or whatever all the hard lines make it look pretty weird and warped. cant decide if i like it or not. i think this sculpt could benefit from some loose sprays a la the obake dog. send me a couple and some more mummies to paint !!!! looking forward to seeing some more progress on this dude.
I agree about the line work I was trying to make a play on some old sculptures my uncle made in the 80's. Spraying is tough for me because I don't have an airbrush, just spray cans and various tips, smaller pieces make that tough. Either way the head is kinda perfect i think fuck around with paints and play with color schemes. The mummie in the pic is the last one, Kevlo is gonna be sending it your way. The rest of the soakies probably won't happen but I have a mash up with them I am working on that should be ready soon enuff. Maybe we can do a Skattum edition.
In some angles and with that paint app it kinda looked apelike. Sculpture looks very simple, but then again, that's what you were going for. I didn't like who it looked on clay but seems promising there after. The paint reminded me a bit of EBIII's work. Also, I wonder how you managed to make the doughboy body stand!!
