Yeah, Adidas can suck comfortwise. Superstars are pretty good, though. I like the look of my Onitsuka Tigers, but they have squadoosh for support.
superstars and tigers are both very cool. And don't forget Chuck Taylors when you want to kick it old-old school. You can't beat hi-tops when you need extra traction.
Check out Karmaloop, they had some NB on sale for half price. Likely not teh UK made ones, but kind of cool.
I've never owned a pair of NB. I might have to try out a pair cause everyone that's had one, has had nothing bad to say about them.
Reebok's running shoes are the best I've owned. I can walk/run thousands of miles before a pair wears out.
I love NB. I have a hard time often finded non-leather shoes that I like. I got these ones a whle ago and they can't be beat in my book.
Same here. I think its 'cause the arches are too high on Adidas....or maybe just shelltoes..but I have flat feet so they killed me. never again. My sister used to work for Saucony Marketing. Got me HOOKED.
Converse all the way. Chucks for everyday, Weapons for "kickz" and Jack Purcells if you wanna dress it up just a little. The only other sneakers I've got are a pair of Reeboks that I love dearly, but I've never seen another pair that I liked nearly as much.
anyone have a good recommendation for a suede cleaning solution for shoes? I've tried one or two i picked up at the shoe store but I'm wondering if anyone has found anything that works especially well. Anyone ever try Jason Markk stuff - http://jasonmarkk.com/products.html just wondering if it's worth it.
I collected Nike for a long time and ended up selling most of the collection to fund my toy habit. My shoe of choice Air Max1, Saucony Jazz, New Balance 574
most Adidas can be lame comfort wise, but I found these to be great! micropacers still lookin for the white and black pairs
My favorite pair died on my a couple of weeks ago I seem to break them at the side of the ball of your foot. If anyone finds a pair of Court Force Ueno in a US sz 8.0 for a good price, let me know. I passed on them and now I'm sad. With Adidas, it's been kinda hit and miss for me. If they just don't feel right when I try them on, I just skip them. It's the same with Nike. I don't buy their running shoes cause the toe box isn't wide enough.
I like shoes but I only commit to buying one or two pairs a year. I have some SB's, Vans, and Addidas. Bapes are ok, I don't own any, though, I want a pair that aren't as shiny as a new car though. Anyone see the new Supreme x Bad Brains x Vans Sk8 High's?
I agree, there is a mexican marketplace swap meet thing in corona I go and stock up on pairs of allstar lows. They are 25 dollars a pair so I never have to worry about them. The only other sneaker I own are pushead dunks I bought when they came out after waiting in a line, which is ridiculous for a shoe, and just recently started wearing them. I never wear the same pair of socks twice, they never feel right after you wash them.
