Yes that is one helluva collection jltohru. The patience it must've taken to track down all those figures! Your kung-fu is very great indeed.
thanks guys... yeah, it def took some sweat and didn't amass overnight! (ramos must have started collecting on his first b-day!!!) i wish the rest of my collection wasn't still in japan, but patience is a virture!!!
I have been drooling over everyone's pics for a few days now, but haven't commented yet. Hottrod, your set-up looks great. Everything looks nicely organized, especially in that case you built for them. Laffin Lapin, your collection rocks. So many great and hard to find pieces. jltohru, your collection seems to get better every day. Keep up the good work. poppacap, you take awesome pics. I love how you pose and arrange everything. vga, you should post some updated pics of everything together, but your new addition pics that you post from time to time always amaze. Mad props to everyone. I hope to post some pics of my stuff soon after I get all of my toys moved to KC.
i gotta say this somewhere... i'm getting 11 pieces in from Japan in just 2 or 3 days! i can't WAIT!!!! i'll be sure to post. posting pics here is fun, not like some "other" messageboad i won't mention the name of!!!
because posting pics here is sharing with people that actually care about the same toys. no "why do you buy that stuff" "that looks cheap" "why do you like secret base" "that stuff is way to expensive for me" or even "how much did that cost you" "tell me how to work YJA" "those have high resale value, eh?" and on, and on, and on...
Some pics/updates... The old stuff all in one place: The new stuff: The 'weenies (some of the late arrivals still en route): A whole mess of SB: Eventually I'll work out some better display arrangement, but its been a long day.
One of these toys plusses is that the more of them you get, the better they all look together. Like Jackie, there's a box in old Nippon waiting to come to me. And then it's going rock like Slash in the ending solo on "November Rain".
my wife and i just moved, so consider this a post-move / coming soon... the benefit of moving into a bigger space is i now have a toy room and a sneaker room!!!
this is a little shipment I got in yesterday!!!! I love the Cambells soup cans!!!!! Oh and the soup cans only came with the regular Skull Bee, I just put the Honey Bee next to them because I thought they looked cool together. one of the cans came with boxers and the other had womens underwear in it.
the pink with purple paint is a Medicom Toy 1/6 store exclusive!!!! it is one of my favorite SB figures that I have right now!!!!!!!! I am a big fan of Pink.
Definitely one of the best Skullbrains I have seen. So if it don't glow...it's got to be pink?? Heh heh.
Good looking Screwbiter there, VGA. You're definitely rebuilding with style. I like that Obake too- got one of those on the way.
