There's only 3 52-week pirates/captains. 2006 - Raider Pirate/Black&Gray, etc. 2008 - Vitamin C Captain 2009 - Siamese Pirate GID Oh oh.....I just noticed. Was there a 2007 52-week pirate/captain?
yeah, but 52 week release or not, I believe the Orange GID to be one of the rarest, if not the rarest Sweet picture Joe!!
Damn you Joe! Jon said they got 16, or was it 18, for SDCC. Most people got em the night before. I believe only 4 were available at the con.

Nah....I don't have these. I wish though. I bet there's a lot of pirates/captains out there that only Pus and perhaps a few others have seen.
I'd say Stumpy was the closest thing to a 2008 52 weeks, as it was initially given as a gift, although it definitely popped up a lot more than the others...much to my chagrin haha
The sign on the door when they shut up shop said they would be opening in Lawndale. Well that is a pretty weird place for a store like Span to open - and nothing seems to have come of it. I have also noticed that some of their sculpts - like teh Cheshire Cat - has now started to appear fomr others (Mindstyle maybe?) - which means they lost teh license...which doesnt bode well. It is interesting what happened to teh Pus stuff - there were originally two owners, one oif whom seemed to have the Pus connection - but after they parted ways the Pus items remained at Span.
