In honor of Akamatsu upcoming show here are some Skull Head Butt figures I purchased last year. Invader X Green Death
Anyone know the situation with Marmit at this show? Wondering what to expect since most of what I know from them is licensed.
The majority of the items that Akamatsu posted on his FB that he sent to Clutter were mainly from Karzworks and Skull Head Butt. There were some Marmit in the pictures. But they were not Godzilla related. He painted Invader X's yesterday. Not sure if these are for Clutter. Some more he painted for Clutter a few days ago.
Please note the change in date that Clutter Gallery site and Jon (Rampage) on Instagram state May 11th opening show now and not the 10th as advertised in the below image. @JMRampage is that correct? @zindabad Jon posted these Marmits on his Instagram for the event if you haven't seen them yet.... More stuff on Jon's Instagram for the event if you like spoilers.
Yessir. Saturday the 11th. Opened all 6 GIANT BOXES OF TOYS (mostly 1-offs!) yesterday, and working on cataloging and pricing everything. Over 120 1-off figures and a whole TON of minis and short runs. There will be a small booklet/catalog of the show items available for purchase as well. I haven’t seen it yet tho. To sum up my feelings about this thing: Bonkers!
That is some crazy work on those dudes! There are going to be a lot of happy fans walking away from this event.
Sure hope a few of these are available for purchase after the show. There are some incredible toys in there.
This show is going to be great. Tons of awesome pieces. What are there limits on how many things one can try and purchase?
I always appreciate Clutter going through the lengths they do to carry a phone around the gallery and go live. Jon and Akamatsu did somethin’ really awesome and special here, and I’m glad I got to witness it from afar!
Oh man! Such good stuff. Hopefully something will be left for my next paycheck. Been needing a Satan for a while and I didn't get those last two Karz Works pieces. Great pieces left over.
A couple of X bodies (which are my main thing)...Though I may have to go back for a mini or two. Some of the smaller stuff that was up is pretty cool. Would love to get one or two of the Karzworks pieces but I'm broke as it is, haha.
I was very impressed at the range of pieces available and the collector-friendly pricing. I'm always a bit put out when you look at a custom show and nothing is less than $100-200, so it was a nice surprise to see those very affordable custom minis and older stock. Big thumbs up to Clutter Gallery and Mr. Marmit for a great show.
So jealous of those who got to attend! One-off overdose and multitudes of Minis! If anyone pulled a Tsuchinoko they don't absolutely love, let me know.
If yer talking about the lil cryptid gachas, they are still available! And at 5 bux a pop worth a gamble imo! I grabbed 3 hoping for Nessy and Chupacbra(?).
