cool! that's a great book! btw, once i saw this book about vintage store displays... i don't remember the exact name of this book but was something like "counter culture"... i've been looking at amazon and nothing. anyways... i love ad characters too! here is the rest of the kaijus i got... (not the jippo on the top left, i got that one awhile ago...)
I have to get that So Crazy Japanese Toys book. I have the Robot one that followed it, but not that one yet. The figure is very cool. Great pick ups on all of them. I really like the big brain one in the top right. I think Ramos has a couple of those.
yeah, the norman.... a spectreman kaiju. man, i was bidding on other of those but the TRANSLUCENT BLUE version. as you can see, i got outbidded...
Ahhh...that's a shame. The more translucent vinyl I see, the more I love the look of it. It's a whole other dimension!
The Belzor RULES!!!! I've been trying to fing that guy for a while now. If you run across another one let me know!
sure, horse! i'll let ya know if i see one. about the name... i'm not quite sure if is belzor, since i've seen this guy listed on ebay with a slighty differnt name "buzara" or something (i don't remember)... his name in japanese is バルザス
is he one of the original ones, or is he a remake? Sorry to be uncouth, but how much did you drop for him? I have always liked him since i got the so crazy book a couple years ago. What about the Yeti? 'spensive? b
that one, as described on the so crazy book is made by marmit - vinyl paradise. the only difference is that the one i got is the yellow eye version. the one on the cover is the white eye version. and no, it wasn't that expensive but i don't recall how much was it. maybe 3,000 yen? last time i saw both versions on ebay, the white eye version went for like 200+ bucks... the yellow eye for like 100+. so i got a good deal those are not expensive at all. at least 3,000 - 3,500 or so.
Dude, those toys are completely awesome. If i got a box with those in the mail, i'd be pretty happy.... so... mail them to me Based on these toys, i think you owe us some shots of the rest of your collection... b
