Wonderful pics, so many great looking pieces in them. Top pic, hp Stomp on the left absolutely kills! I hope that Sold Out sign on the Deathra isn't a sign of things to come for those of us hoping to catch one.
S7 crew and Thrashout crew did a really, really nice job with the show, I was mightily impressed. Thrashout is fly in general, but this was just really solid. Got the S7 zombie coffin and S7 Deathra, very nice, my first anything having to do with Gargamel, and not a bad way to start.
This show Rocked! So much goodness everywhere. Amazing experience to finally visit the Thrashout store. So much hospitality from the Gargamel crew! Also, big thanks for letting me borrow the store board so I could get my Thrash on in Koenji.
Sorry Jay, no one to follow me around when I took off. All I can say is that if my wheels were larger, I would've kept going. I did almost get hit a few times as I kept forgetting people drive on the left So much fun though. A skate tour would actually be awesome as it would allow you to cover way more ground.
last time i went,,i brought a skateboard (the old wiggley,,lamour knows ) & had a great time,,covered lots of ground & saw things i probably would have never seen on foot.. the only problem,,those blind person markings on the sidewalks make the streets the only way to go.. not sure if it is common to skate in the streets in japan...i figured as long as the police didn't stop me,,i was good to go... besides,,,japan is very bicycle,,scooter,,motorcycle friendly,,so i am sure that is another option...
More reasons to visit Japan! It might be cool to stroll around Harajuku on a scooter. I just have to find and rent one with a very huge carry on compartment with locks. Skates are not bad either.
I finally broke down and contacted Thrashout, ended up with these 2 pieces. Flynn Squirm in its drippy goodness Dokuwashi second from the right just behind the Zag with orange eyes.
In the Hand Paint area yes, but S7 has some distribution rights in the U.S. so I doubt you could order the regular toy releases that just dropped. I think only Hand Paints are available for overseas orders at this point but I could def be wrong.
i rented a bike one time i went,,it think it was in ikebekuro,,i would have to pick my memory for the exact details.. i remember it being cheap & easy to do,,another great option for getting around tokyo.. if you mean bike tour as in touring the countryside from place to place,,you would probably be better off bringing your own souped-up touring bike..the rental i had was a standard city bike...
I was able to land the glow with pink spray, and the metallic blue and black one also sold at the show. Not sure about the one on the far right.
