ME TOO! I just bought the reissue vinyl about two months ago and it remains on my record player to this day. The best thing about this album is that the A-side gets the funk out, while the B-side is blues-jam city!!
Today I can't get this old dnb tune with eerie dark strings out of my head- Babylon Timewarp- I Come in Peace: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TB03qohf ... PL&index=9 Go to 1:20 for some darkness
This is a track off of an old japanese import Playstation Game from before they protected the music tracks on the cds. The game was a 2d Fighting game called Fighting Spirit 2. it was wholly unremarkable except for its soundtrack which pretty much rules. Here's the URL do your self a favor and listen to it. Its fucking AWESOME. http://abelincolnjr.posterous.com/ichiban-u
WOW! Thanks Man! I too am always surprised when I find a Clash recording like THIS that I've never heard before. This reminded me that I bought the Ellen Foley album "Spirit Of St Louis" with The Clash but I've never listened to it... A little research turned up another Clash tune I've never heard before (with Ellen) The Clash - Blonde Rock n Roll http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gsm97aF8JYg
That song is pure gold, I cant remember when it was recorded but its got the "Magnificent 7" triangle on it so maybe its around then. I'll check the ellen foley song later too Rock on!
