$110 a pop seems kinda high to me. Seems like T2R pruducts end up in floods on KR. I think Qistory time is slowly fading out. No matter who signs the box. Just an opinion. :)

Damn. Remember how cool some [expletive deleted] used to seem? I still have my biskup basics, but planning to sell almost everything else.

I sold my whole collection of 2" [expletive deleted] for like 600.00. Toy2r just started producing too many colorways and releases too quickly. The fun ended a long time ago for me with [expletive deleted]. I still have a few 8" [expletive deleted] which I love but I would trade or sell them if I could get what I thik they should be worth.

I also have a feeling (not confirmed) that Raymond has reproduced many of the [expletive deleted] sets, series, and figures that were one time limited. When a company reproduces limited edition stuff that does not sit right with me and this seemed to happen a lot woth Toy2R. Again, not confirmed, just my thinking.

    Definite nope! . . . it's one platform that has never really appealed . . . and I'm glad it didn't! :D

And now it's frickin colourway OD!

The only [expletive deleted] I got are the Kozik camo Ox-ops and the Ledbetter Bears . . . and if a bunch more colourways show up they'll probably hit eBay for the completists $$$!

Well, it is mostly form over function ([expletive deleted] vs. bearbricks vs. [expletive deleted] vs. whatever), cuz when it comes right down to it, it is all just pieces of plastic or vinyl, in different shapes, with different paint jobs.

I really think people here get too exercised over what form the different plastic lumps take. Even our own moderators have gone so far as to call other "japanese" vinyl ugly.

    A bunch of nonsense.

[expletive deleted] didn't do all too well when it first launched in Hong Kong, TW and Japan. Then it died down and went to the US. I guess artists in the US needed a platform to get their work out there and it was a good timing for Toy2r... plus Medicom is not as approachable.

i dont care much for [expletive deleted], myself. they seem to be overpriced for what you get.

but i will say this: i am customizing an 8 inch egg [expletive deleted] right now, and i am having a blast with it. the arms on [expletive deleted] have always bugged me, so i took off the arms, filled in the holes, and now i have an egg with legs and no arms. makes for a nice "canvas" to work on

bearbricks are copied from these tiny plastic toys that came as prizes inside of chocolate eggs.

I think the biggest draw for the bear [expletive deleted] for myself is the slouching posture. I dig subtle and simple designs.
Just got the new Yeti last night and it's awesome.

I never liked small [expletive deleted], but I have a nice row of the big ones, kept 10 of my faves, dumped the rest. Two colorways of the soto is probably enough, though.[/url]

Yeah, $110 seems pretty out of line for these (abut then again I've never been a fan of the [expletive deleted], so . . .)

Soto's artwork is cool, but, still and all, it's just a platform toy. Although, that said, I always thought these would be much cooler if they had a clear dome and you could actually plant stuff inside like a real terrarium.
