Hey guys, just starting to share information on my upcoming show with Blobpus. Will be opening July 5th in Tokyo at Rampage Studios. Going to be lots of cool stuff, one offs by me and Jon, Ive painted a few Dokugans and Ugly Unicorns. But most exciting, Kaji is painting runs of both Cadaver Kid and Usir, and an Arctic Evolved Diggler run will be dropping. After the opening all left overs will be going up online. Me too. Blobpus paints his own stuff amazingly, but when he works on other's work its exceptional too - PK, MVH, Kumon being recent case's in point. I am very excited about this because Joe's sculpts are great, and they really deserve the Blobpus touch!
Thanks guys. Really looking forward to this show. Kaji is amazing and I can't wait to see his paints. What I like about this show is its not the big US toy store/gallery using their name and marketing connections to attract artists. Jon worked this out at his brand new little Tokyo studio and made the planets align. Just the 3 of us painting up each others figures. It's going to be a really cool fun event.
I have been so happy to see Jon's little shop do so well since it opened, and have seen a lot of his stuff popping up in the photos from Japanese collectors, which is just great. Your guys' past collabs have been excellent, and I am excited to see what you, Jon, and Kaji have in store. Good luck with the show guys!
Beautiful work Joe! That guys looks amazing. The faces came out great. The shine on the wax really makes him look all slimey - fantastic.
Yes! been waiting for news on this wonderful figure. Looking forward to more great pictures. Hopefully, he'll be out later this summer?
