Dialog can be a little campy/cheesy at times but adds to the charm of the series. Great casting, lots of james franco freaking out lol. 8/10
Cinematically, I put this one up there with "The Green Mile" and "The Shawshank Redemption" in terms of sincere tone, time periods, characterization, and classic Stephen King writing. Plus there's a ton of King's easter eggs peppered throughout the episodes. Some are easy to find while others are more sublime, but they're definitely there.
