I have been seeing these awesome stickers around. I was wondering what they are called and who makes them also where can you get them at? Photo 1 - 2012-04-03 by ß∫∆˚®˙ß∫£, on Flickr This is not my picture but if I need to remove it please let me know.
i got a bunch of them back in the late 80's - early 90's, they were included in a super tasty japanese wafer cookie thing i used to nom. haven't seen them since, though...
Yeah, Bikkuriman Shiiru (ビックリマンシール). Do a copy/paste in Google and you'll get tons of pictures. More info on wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bikkuriman
Blurble, while your checking these out, if you find happen upon a place to buy these protector sheets for the stickers like the one below, please let me know. I'd like to find something for my Gargamel stickers, and I've had zero luck finding the right size. You'd figure that websites that cater to the Pokemon crowd would carry something, but I haven't found anything yet. ZOKKIRIMAN by GAKYUDO_GOL-B, on Flickr
That's crazy you just posted those..I was looking for some holders as well. I have tons of gargamel stickers and need a place to put them as well.
Tried looking into protector sheets for holding coins? The little pouches look about the size for coins maybe.
I'm pretty sure I saw some sets of these for several thousand dollars at a Mandarake a few months ago.
For those little cardboard squares with the round windows, yeah? I will check that out! Great idea, thank you!
The local Japanese market carries those wafers Atom Gray was talking about, I just started collecting them too. blurble - send me a PM and we can trade.
the wafers package looks like this, but there are different graphics I found it at http://www.mitsuwa.com/english/index.html San Diego Branch
Mandarake has loads under the name 'Bikkuriman' ビックリマン http://ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/shop/en/se ... gy=keyword Prices vary wildly . . . . .
I wonder what the stories on some of them are? The lotte ones are a baseball team and I assume thats like a legendary player. Here in korea we have the Lotte Giants, I wonder if they have the same name in Japan?
Gargamel brought that very folder at D-Con. I remembered this thread and I asked where they got it. They said in Japan. I looked over the folder there was no maker or company on it. They also brought two little containers full of stickers. By the time these showed up I was down to $2 and didn't have $5 to buy a sticker pack. -____-
Those binders/folders are same size as vintage ones made for slides used with slide projectors. There is an antique store near me that has a few if anyone wants them I can check to see how much they are and what not.
