since Josh said all the details come with the figure, maybe then it will let us know the secret that each one of these that goes unpainted will self-destruct like a Dr. Gadget message.

I'm gonna get two I think...which will prob. be standard...and I don't think that these need be production friendly in the "accepted" understanding of the term. I think they are looking for something fresh and new...and that's why they're doing this. Methinks they're going to pick one that not only is amazing but also breaks new ground...a new colorway ain't gonna cut it here...although tradition can sometime be so good, it can't be denied...who knows...but no matter what this is really an exciting announcement!

Thanks guys, but the timing of the arrival for the figure might be bad for me. I have a group show later in the year so the contest might not get the time it needs. We'll see. I have a week to sort out a lot...but I do have an idea of what to paint.
