Re: T9G x Medicom VCD are the bugged out doll eyes missing, or is this their new design direction? mutated rangeas? also, love the drunken master painting: thanks for the coverage!
Re: T9G x Medicom VCD The nails and the bunny rabbit seems out of place. I guess I'm not getting the meaning of what that's about. Otherwise it's a def want.
Re: T9G x Medicom VCD Thinking the same thing. I like that there are real nails in it though. Kind of add your own effect. Makes it feel like you can drill into the side of this figure and not here that scream noise like when you rip a leaf off of a plant. NNNOOooooooooooooooooooooooo.........
Re: T9G x Medicom VCD Looks like T9G is moving into a more serious direction?! Fist the Sqalone with the skull and now this . . . I wonder how this would look with doll eyes?! Anyway, I could live with this figure without the nails and the bunny. PS: Very nice pics indeed, luciferj
Re: T9G x Medicom VCD IMO pretty much everything T9G has done besides the Rangeas has kind of a surreal, nightmarish undercurrent to it, albeit more subtle. I like the sprouty horns & the nails in the brain - should look great between a Vatundoo and his take on the Evirob!
Hahaha, yep, the eyes just made it go from creepy to cute! Awesome! Any release info? I am in China right now and do not have the possibilities to search the internet as I would like to.
I like it too, no matter how gimmcky it seems. Gives it the "mixed media" feel. Would love to have the black one posted in that picture.
I honestly really like the nails and little impaled bunnies. However, I kinda like it better unpainted and without the eyes and just the sockets.
I think T9G did some amazing customs in the past, but his latest one-offs looked all pretty horrible to me (especially those poor Rangeases that appear to have been dipped in poop, as another boardie pointed out so astutely). I'm hoping for some nice production color schemes!
Another terrific sculpt from T9G… but someone needs to do a custom where the rabbit is replaced by a tiny figure of Morrissey.
It's okay, sbbenhcs... you can't help the way you feel. <the sound of many brainers' brains scanning for good Smiths/Moz lyric-jokes...>
Still not diggin the nail and bunny. The Rangeas appealed to me because it had allot of character. By that I mean "character" as you imagined it to be. This with the bunny and nails sort of take that option away from you. Rangeas can stand alone as it is sculpted. Moznail has an apparent message and a bit more artsy for my taste.
