I am a little surprised actually. Guess it just seemed like it would always be around. Anyone know if they are going online only or something like that?
I haven't heard anything about it closing, but would honestly be surprised, one, given that I don't really see any reason for it to be necessary for it to close, for all the [outwardly apparent at least] success of past shows, and also if we didn't hear about it first from some of the folks directly involved. Now, I am admittedly not privy to any of the inner workings of TAG, nor can I say anything about costs on running the physical location, just giving my impressions.
Riding off into the sunset. Much respect to the people who actually try to grow the vinyl toy market. I had a chance to visit recently and I'm glad I made it at least once. It's sad to see another store go, but I guess we all just have to keep adapting and evolving. Much luck to Gino and the gang in their futures.
