Anyone else get a Bagun shipping confirmation? I've never ordered direct from Marmit before and wasn't sure what to expect. I happened to be getting home late from the Death's Vault show right before it went on sale, I forget either 12 or 1 at night or I would have completely missed out.
I guess so, it was a pretty minimal sale in terms of information. Too cool that this stuff is getting reissued. The smogons lasted a day or so. Hopefully they all did well enough to keep the trend going!
This came incredibly fast. I would have had it yesterday but I missed the delivery. Only complaint I have is it didn't come with the header. I love that piece of art. I hope everyone still looking is able to find one.
I just made mention a couple days ago that this is one of THE best toys/kaiju in my entire collection. One of the best toys ever made, in my opinion. Pretty rad for TE to offer it up via Marmit!
Absolutely agree. A great toy. Add in the source material and original artist participation with the creation of it and its taken to a whole other level.
Interesting, the sprays are a little heavier so I’m assuming marmit is painting these. It also looks like the wings are still pulled in blue, where the previous versions are pulled in brown. I wonder why they keep doing subtle blue variations instead of different colorways. I think this figure would look great in just about every color possible. Is it a licensing thing?

I assumed this was a semi-reissue since the original release is somewhat hard to find these days. There haven’t been that many releases overall, so maybe they will get to new colors if the sales support it.

Wonder if the first paint will be black and silver like that one test shot, or different. Although as many have said before me, I probably shouldn't consider it done until the toy is on people's shelves
That original black and silver test would be a hell of a first release, so I’m hoping he sticks with that. This was one of the most disappointing sculpts to not happen(and by that I mean sad) so I’m really, really excited to hopefully see this finally happen. An orange vinyl base with metallic blue sprays sounds awesome to me on this sculpt for some reason.
Update! View this post on Instagram "Target Earth mail order molding is complete. Getting ready for Marmit stores mail order. The molding colour is expected to be grey" I would guess this means the first release will at least be on black vinyl. "Target Earth mail order" does confuse me--does this mean Marmit will fulfill the original orders, and the black will be exclusive to these?
@zindabad I *just* saw this update and I audibly yelled “FINALLY!!!” Marmit’s orders have been done through his website as pre - orders, so I’m sure these will be just the same!
Got it--so how would he differentiate between Target Earth orders (test shot black) and Marmit orders in grey vinyl? We'll wait and see, I guess!
@zindabad Oh, I have no idea. Ha ha. Unless there’s already pre - existing TE orders he might just do open pre - order black and then later the grey release? I just know I want one already!!!
