http://occultvibrations.wordpress.com/2011/08/05/sol-invictus/ Sometimes I think things won't hurt as much as I know they will.
The new work from Hooper looks awesome. The next time you're in Boston, give a shout if you want to bullshit about toys and tattoos. I had a session with Timothy Hoyer at Congress St Tattoo in Portsmouth, NH. He started a cover-up on the inside/back of my right knee. I'll snap a picture when it is a little less angry.
Will do, sir. it was a quickie to see a friend from Texas, but Claire (the little lady) couldnt make it this trip so there'll be another soon. What did Tim do?
Here is the work from Mr. Hoyer. I was pretty impressed when he laid down the stencil perfectly on the first shot. It gets finished when he comes up for his next visit in the fall. It is covering a horrible partially finished tiger head with a dagger going through it.
Quail looks superb. I too have a Stay Gold tattoo in mind for my feet, but I've been on the fence with it for like 3-4 years.. I just have little time off work and abhor open footwear that would actually allow it to heal, so I forever talk myself out of it
I healed my foot fine with socks and work boots on, standing all day machining. It sucked ass but you'll be alright. Everytime I would take my socks off to put more bacitracin on I'd put my foot underwater with my sock on in the tub and then unroll it off my foot. But I did have to go all day until I got home from work to change it.
Yeah, same here. Got my foot done on a Sunday night, and went to work the next day, wearing shoes. Not too bad. Now when I got my knee caps done, and worked the next day... that really sucked, haha.
Knee caps/back of knees are horrible. I actually think my knee caps weren't as bad as the back of my knee. I limped around like a gimp for a month probably.
i hated my foot over back of the knee... it sucks cause some of the color came out of my foot and the guy that did it bounces between here and england... i hope i get back with him someday to get retouches and my other foot done...
I'm just getting started on my legs, but I've fallen on my knees a good thousand times riding bmx so i feel like it wont be shit...I'm sure I'll be wrong
I had to emergency bartend last night with the fresh finger tattoos; washing dishes in Steramine water was great. No really. I loved it. ugh.
I got the tops of my feet tattooed several years ago, and didn't think it was too bad at the time. A couple of months ago, I got a couple of small pieces added to them, and thought it sucked. Haha. The coverup on the inside of my right knee gets around to the back of the knee a bit, and after just the line work, I think that it will be worse than my feet or my knee caps.
Yeah, both of my knees had a spot, from being too calloused/scarred from BMX, where I felt no pain, and then the color fell out. But other than that spot, my knees were not fun in the least.
