I always hated the look of this JJ with thunder thighs, dont really know why.
It's the Vest....
^ Ha, I actually have one of these and I agree 100%. The vest kills it.
Hey even three-headed werewolves need to class it up for the occasional night on the town. And I am guessing the gold strips are actually meant to be metal bars which hold the shirt in place from tearing apart during his transformation, with the 'buttons' being industrial rivets, hence the lost sleeves, a la the Hulk (the ones down the side of his pants, alas, were supported with a weaker metal and just didn't last). That is also why he needs multiple strips of them, what you thought each one of the heads was going to be able to open his own vest? Psssssh! See guys, this stuff is clearly very well thought out.

Honestly, scrolling through those releases really makes me realize I have totally lost any interest in new 'sofubi' toys. Kind of sad but I guess I am out.
Except the artist missed one important detail...
Everyone knows that 3 headed werewolves only wear paisley vests..
...and apparently Letter Jackets?
He was on the chess team to get that jacket right? State champ if I remember correctly.
I think this is a fun detail/feature....a little odd, but not fugly.
We don't frequently get much in the way of cloth accessories.
The recent spiked leather masks on the RxH figures in particular are rather sick. They remind me of Penance from the Marvel comics...the dark era of Speedball.
Awe I kinda dig the teen wolf jacket. I think the vest wouldn't look as bad if it was painted flannel or really anything other than what it was.
That's a Thriller varsity jacket! Which doesn't look bad itself, but the neck is too wide to compensate for three heads, and the sleeves are awkwardly long. It's otherwise constructed well and looks overall pretty awesome!
We don't want to know about your secret fetishes
Yes we do. You do not want to know what happens when you get a cold stick of butter, some steel wool, and me in the same room...
He's been touchin' pooooo
Ever since like 1982
Yessssss!!!!!! Michael I forgot that was you who knew of the elusive poo toucher song. I actually think I lost it. But I sang it to my son the other day. "Even though my old grandad told me not to." Lolol!!! Good times bro, good times.
"Sweet letter, brah"
Not really sure i agree with all of that. The Doku-Rocks-Man figure is really nice in the clear vinyl and the Evil Daves painted Toysbian pieces are really wonderful to look at. Future Ape is pretty cool and some of the Tru:Tek stuff is nice. Its not all rotted monsters anyways.
Whats probably going to have to happen is we will need some large scale budget global kaiju movies to get the ball rolling for ppl to create more of what you want in general. Im vaguely familiar with anything outside of Godzilla thats how bad some new kaiju stuff is needed.
That fuckin' new Telebobo.
The first one was "ugly" aesthetically but not repulsive. Just a "not my cup of tea" thing. The new one? Hideous. It legitimately makes me uncomfortable. And fuck the Nazi shit.
Not a fan of the ludicrous amounts of gorilla toys being released, but this one is actually really pleasing to me. The two faces on top are quite humorous and that gloss black with red and silver highlights works well with the smooth details.
I don't know if I'd ever feel right putting any toys in this thread cause, you know, to each his own, but THAT, that I 100% agree with... Well,.. at least 90%.
I dig all kinds of extreme/repulsive art but there are some toys in the vein of pigmen, telebobos and such that are not allowed to take up space and $$$ only to scare the piss out of me and my sofubi family. Not to mention I have my human family would hate to know that that ugly shit would absorb any chance of a summer vacation.
Kind of have to admit that I like this guy, just because he looks so much like an actual blobfish...which are fucking ugly.
I like this little blobfish too. Not a fan of this paintjob tho.
