    Everyone's free to post here whatever they like, but I'd venture that the Garamon doesn't quite sit in line with most of this fare. But utterly fugly or not, I'll still happily adopt one.

    I would definitely say that is exactly the intent here too. And as far as customs go, people's mileage may vary, but both that and the RxH guy are far from being bad or insulting in my eye. Not to everyone's tastes maybe, but I'd say done in a slightly different way and with a hyped sofubi artists 'cachée' around them, people would be clamouring to throw down their money on them. It's all relative.

    While I suppose we should be thankful it is not in Comic Sans, that is some real unfortunate promotional design. I am also not sure on the vaseline filter effect. Maybe this is an homage to some other '70s soft lighting films, when I only thought it was supposed to referencing classic toku/kaiju. My mistake; carry on.
