I’ve enjoyed Jorge’s work for quite some time. I think he’s very talented as both a sculptor and a painter. His only downfall, in my opinion, is a lack of resources to consistently produce in vinyl outside of Mexico, which neither he nor majority of his fan base are necessarily against, but having sofubi or Chinese soft vinyl is obviously the preference amongst most collectors.

I also really enjoy resinagem’s works. Pretty much everything he sculpts derives from classic metal or hardcore influence, be it album covers or characters from album artwork, and he’s also insanely talented. The Brazilian vinyl is pretty solid, as well. And he charges very little for the work he puts in.

Actually, I don’t think the figure itself is that terrible (this thread is jam packed with a whole lot worse), but the swastika makes it ugly.

 

That's the dharmic swastika. The toy is still ugly regardless.

 

I have some of Jorge's figures and as you say they are quite good despite being Chinese material.

The financing of developing Chinese casts is an expensive process from what I've been told.

 

As someone who loved Doom as a kid I really dig the Slime House Toys Turgore. Can't really argue that it doesn't fit here though, ha!

 

The sofubiartbase guys at the bottom legit gave me a nightmare. I was pulling green worms out of dogs... mostly their ears. I hated it.

From what I have seen of this artist, this is one of his key pieces.

At least with him we will have 2-headed figures for a while.

 

That username has definitely had other toys posted here, I remember because it kinda sounds like meconium. I really hate that word.

 

A slick, modern-take on the Galtan with added obligatory belly-face and mecha stylings. Personally I think there's too much going on, Cant stop - Wont stop.
