Hey all. I guess I haven't all too active on SB as of late. As a quick remedy, here is my latest resin toy. I made the first colorway exclusively for Toy Karma 3 and it is inspired by a recent business trip to India. Basically I consider it a silly mash-up of an Indian vinyl toy tuk-tuk and resin parts. Influences here range from the Hindu Pantheon to the omni-present tuk-tuks and trash in India. Hence the name. The original toy's production quality is really bad and so I tried to pick up on that. Recently, some toy makers have been criticized for being too bad in their quality assurance (ha!) so my thought was to make the resin parts look bad at first glance while a second glance would reveal that I actually sculpted some very precise pieces into the parts. That again, hides under a typical kaiju rub-off paint job. Deep, aint it? You can still acquire one toy for yourself here: http://rotofugi.com/gallery/exhibits/TK3Exhibit2011/ Next to this one I have planned five more colorways. Each colorway will be limited to two pieces only!
