There is no white unpainted version offered for sale. That photo was a prototype preview of future sales. The price with that picture was to let you know what it would cost when they released it.
I have heard that there will be others releases but they are all going to be similar to each other in paint style, maybe no crazy color versions.
just a heads up for those who missed it the first time, Green Slime is back up for pre-order at Lulubell
How come the pre-order pic looks like this but the pics of ones people have seem to have blue sprays? Different version than the Lulubell one or different lighting?
The spray job is definitely different, it does not appear to be the lighting. Comparing the two pictures, the image of the pre-order from Lulubell also seems to have more of a matte finish. I assume the picture provided by Lulubell was the original spray job, which in some cases is subject to change for production, but a disclaimer is typically accompanied in the description if such a change may occur. It could just be a similar variation. I personally like it. I think it brings out the sofubi nature of it, whereas the picture provided by Lulubell kind of makes me feel as though I'm looking at a vinyl kit. If this turns out to be the color on the pre-orders and you're not feeling it, I'd gladly take it off your hands.
Yeah, I wasn't aware of this for a while. Very nice details for a mini. Wish I hadn't missed out on this guy.
Damn. I looked back at the pre-order info @ Lulubell and found no trace of details regarding the mini. How did the paint come out? Did it match the photograph provided by Lulubell? Is the blue bellied ver. exclusive to those which came with the mini?
I got mine without a mini, too. Amy said that it's possible the mini-packed Green Slime was possibly a limited thing. Kinda like a chase, but not necessarily. I'll ask again next time I pop into the shop.
Here's a pic of it, i think it came out great, on natural light the blue blends perfectly with the gray, used my phone to take this pic and it does have a bright ass flash so that's why the blue sprays seem to be a little heavy handed, at the end im really happy with the figure, love it, a little smaller than expected though.
It looks like whatever he lacks in height he makes up for in bulk. Looks like a great figure all around. The colors on that one actually look better than the bagged specimen, but it could be a result of the flash. The bagged specimen looks like it lacks the spray detail on the head. I look forward to a poster color variant.
Are those the same colorway? Hardto tell with the lighting. The same thing happened with the first Death Kappa release. Some had the omake some did not. Sucks because both that and this omake are so nice it's a real bummer not to get one. Regardless very awesome toy.
