wow, great job! this really makes this sculpt sing. I've always liked this one, but there just hasn't been any sharp colorways--until now. the deadprez one is cool too.
It's a really underrated figure. There's so much detail but none of the production versions take advantage of it. The second recruit should be done this week. I hadn't planned on selling them but hit me up if you're interested. I can't afford to buy toys so in just going through my case and making new ones Thanks for the kind words
Looks sweet 'Bot, definitely got an "Iron Grenadier" feel to it. Looking forward to that Fullsized Stinkor too. This is a sentiment I can relate to as well. I've been repainting some of my collection too. phil
Those look awesome! the 2nd one is especially nice. I like the brown arms and feet. I'll say it again, I wish Ichibanboshi would do some better colorways for this character. it's really badass. Great job!!!
thanks guys i might have the third recruit finished tonight. i stress the word might though. i'm working on him in between other things. he's a black ops soldier
It's really amazing how a simple idea can bring a sculpt to the next level. You have done just that with the brown fur on the feet and hands of recruit #2. It makes it feel more like a character than just a sculpt that has some crazy paint job on it. It's like he's some sort of wolfman-zombie army ninja freak. Seriously, that's one of the most simple yet effective customs I've seen in a while. Great job.
Agreed. I was never too crazy about this sculpt, but after seeing those customs the details pop in a whole new light. Beautiful work!
thanks a lot guys. here's a new recruit, part of the special forces. i'll get a new group shot tomorrow. it's late
Those are even better than when I used to see your customs over at the other (cough) site! Your skills keep growing to new levels!
I've got one more ryusei and that will be it for now. I'm thinking of doing desert camo on him. I'll take a group shot tonight Thanks again for all the kind words
