i agree with the "not quite feeling zombie" on rangeas, but i have to admit that
i do kind of like it on kotaro! these guys are hella fun, and i love how their eyes
change to match (sorta) their colors.




and one more rangeas down! still waiting on my taipei version (which has been
held up in customs for more than a month now... )

Nope, although the mark sometimes give a little gift, but these gifts seems a bit strong, not so "mini" .

wondering: is it clear vinyl painted from both inside and out?

 

There is no paint at all, its a double pour, clear vinyl on the outside, black vinyl on the inside- Its just like the early unpainted GID Rangeas (which was clear green and GID), and I believe the Red-White-Blue Rangeas is also on a double poured base, but I've never seen that first hand.

 

you mean this one? (i've always thought of this one as the blue gid, but whatever. =p)



and yes, it is a double pour. you can see the two layers on the beard and small spikes
along the back, but since the horns and nails are painted, it's a bit harder to see.

 

I think that the blue GID is painted on the inside while the black one is double poured . . .

 

How about we call it the Rainbow Water Ice Rangeas from now on?




What would you say the base of that Rangeas is? is it the same as the clear green and GID pour?

nope, both are double pour.

looks like they're both the same gid, but the thinness of layer gives a bit of color
bleed when viewed from the inside. (so green double pour looks greener, et al.)
