The "What you just got in the Mail" Thread

Snagged from another boardie, this guy arrived today. So good!

 

Got these guys thanks to some fun trades with fellow SB’rs!

 

I got my timezones mixed up and initially missed the blue Garloo(Garblue, if you will). Had a very, very solid collector notice my comment of missin’ out and basically said they landed it, but only bought it for the sake of *actually* landing’ any Headlock piece, though not particularly attached to it. So they offered it to me for retail(as opposed to three others that tried to tradebait me out of other Headlock toys) and said they’d rather see a collector like me continue to build a genuine collection of Headlock. Extremely grateful for the good peoples that this scene does produce! I owe ‘em!!!

 

I mean. I know I'm biased. But it's a slam dunk haul.

Though, I still can't believe that I waited like 7 years before finding my FIRST Ghostrooper, and you got one barely a few months after I introduced you to them.

It's ok, because I found a grail (even if it's got some cracks)

It was an incredible haul and I think each of the figures really stand out and offer something unique to our collections!

 

Picked up these oddities last month. Curiosity killed me. They were listed by a single source on YJA , and they had all sorts of repackaged Return of Ultraman/Soul of Bullmark kaiju available there, and on Mercari, too. From what I have seen they are mostly gone, although a few are still hanging around.

The translated description: It was purchased at the Sufes individual booth. It is said that it is a customized version of the Bullmark soul mini soft vinyl with the header of the B club reprint version reduced.

I'm wondering about the story here—I'm guessing it's just a creative seller that had a bunch of leftover figures, working out something that got in their head.

What these are: unboxed, re-bagged figures using a custom/home-printed header, then re-re-(ziploc)-bagged along with two similarly printed (double-sided) postcards. The little header card is produced on what I assume is home printer photo paper, and has the corners Cameo/die-cut. That punch hole is simulated! The postcards are of similar quality, and all of the imagery is sourced from low-res/compressed image files. It's charming as hell. I don't think the seller was profiting much from these, given the cost.

This is wild! Jeez, it is amazing how much a good header can elevate something. I struggle to ever leave anything mint (the plastic bag portion has just never appealed to me because of how much it obstructs the toy). But these cards would make a great backdrop element in a display cabinet.

 

Beautiful Bwana set David. I've never paid attention to that Steven before and sorely regret it!

 

It's luvverly! . . . the Monster Family, along with all the S7 Japanese vinyl are sorely missed.

 

I used to have a pretty sweet titanosaurus collection. I have missed them ever since they left. Very happy to have this one again!
