    [​IMG] these guys are getting harder and harder to find, and usually absolutely unaffordable. Thanks to an old timer, I was able to get these gems for basically retail. What a guy!


    Not really sure it’s any worse out there than it ever was. Imagine people painting blank kougai now???? Common practice back in the day.

    No, they're similar to the boxed versions by Bandai 1985 but smaller. I'm not sure how they were originally packaged, I've only seen them loose.

    @Kerk1 it’s a Hakata doll made in Fukuoka (formerly Hakata) by the Sato Hakata Doll Co. Year unknown, probably 50’s/60’s if I had to guess.
