Kirk Hammett to Release 'Too Much Horror Business' Book in October http://www.guitarworld.com/kirk-hammett-release-too-much-horror-business-book-october This might be interesting.
Good old Kirk . . . he's still a cool dude. I thought he came across really well in the Some Kind of Monster doc . . . the only modest, down to earth and sane one in the group . . .
has anyone seen any pictures of KVH toys that were supposed to be shown at the Orion festival last weekend? this blog has some horror stuff but no close ups of any toys: http://photos.nj.com/8002328/gallery/or ... index.html though i see a rat bat spider there.
from brooklyn vegan no KVH toys though. and just cause I'm digging around, original Pushead artwork in the Metallica museum.
I've witnessed the guy pillaging the local comic/ record shop, carrying arm loads of stuff. I guess that's a way to get through a grueling tour schedule.
Got this bookin te mail today from amazon, though the spine was ripped, wtf? The book is gorgeous., the design is great. The interviews are insightful. The collection is mind blowin. Highly recommended to monster fans!
Forgot about it! Goin' to the Iggle to get an Amazon gift card, fuel points and then buy the book... !
My wife and I went to the book release party a couple of weeks ago. Horror related costumes were encouraged. November 1, 2012 by ilmuffino, on Flickr
It's not bad, I just don't see any room for continuity or further development since it's essentially a figure of himself. I would like to say though, i'm interested in the book and will most likely pick it up.
Agreed I just can't get behind the idea of making a toy of yourself plus he doesnt really seem to care all that much just another thing to put the metallastamp on
I got the book yesterday, love it. Some of the photos are inexplicably small, but overall it's a fun reference book. Looks great on my bookshelf next to the other horror movie books.
