Comparing Betlehem to Burzum ? You gotta be kidding me... Vikernes hasn't made one single album that's not worth checking. His last 2 synth records might not be classified as 'metal' but the atmosphere they breathe is just as creepy and eerie as his early work. It's gonna be fascinating to say the least when he returns to recording music. I need to check that new Orcustus. On a BM sidenote, there's no denying the power of Proclamation, Black Witchery, Lust and Funeral Mist.
No shit! This thread is pretty tame on opinions of what is and is not part of a genre to some people.
Are you trying to say that they aren't touring and putting out albums? Cause that info is just a mouse click away, my friend. And about kicking ass, as long as Breaking the Law and the Trooper are still on the set lists, this cannot be disputed!
"I iz DEAD serious!" But really, I wasn't exactly comparing them - I just stated that Burzum is overrated IN MY BOOK while I find Betlehem to be blacker and bleaker than most. Funny though that you don't seem to like Betlehem yet praise V. simply for the "atmosphere" his records breathe..?
i think it is in reference to you saying its arguable if they are still relevant. maiden and priest will ALWAYS be relevant.
