Tonight's show was killer! I was very surprised by the amount of submissions. So many figures with such beautiful sculpting and painting. There was lots of talent tonight and made it hard to choose what to buy. Job well done to everyone that participated. It was great seeing new faces and seeing the old. My coverage has WORDS (I think zinc probably has better photos... he always does.): http://robotxmonster.blogspot.com/2010/08/super7-toxic-catalyst.html I was pleasantly surprised at how the resin toys have progressed since the 'early days' a few years ago. Some very complex stuff being produced. It was also great to see the 'historical' pieces from toymakers like Ilanena, Nerd One and Onell- a reminder that resin toys really aren't that new.
A few words from me on Toxic Catalyst too... http://blog.neonmonster.com/gallery/rom ... c-catalyst Flickrized: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jeremyriad ... 4669432087 Great show, MONSTREHEROs
Thank you Monstrehero and Super7 for hosting the event. I had a great time and enjoyed meeting everyone and hanging out. I am glad I was able to make it to the Super7 store before the move. And thank you very much to the people that purchased the pieces I had in the show. There was a lot of cool stuf to choose from, so I really want to thank you.
Hello. Glad I went up to S.F. to the show and met everyone that I did. I was really impressed with everything there. Thank you MONSTREHERO and Senor Brian Flynn for everything. shout out to Toybot Studios and Vinyl Pulse!!!!!! thank you!
yes yes yes many thanks to cliff and sean for putting on the show. it was awesome and really had more people attend than i expected for a show without major japanese companies as the focus. of course joe continued his anti-resin posture; i'm sure he spent the night eating ham sandwiches whilst lounging in a beanbag chair made of unopened siccaluna toys. (just ribbing you joe, but i missed you and slack too and hoped you would be there) hopefully the show was successful enough to warrant a sequel. i was loco that night.
