These are better in the context of the "mission statement", but still not in good taste. I'd rather not be reminded of the insanity of war when I look at my toys---I've got a radio and television for that...
then there is always this version: http://www.action-figure.com/images/06/07/cm/2.jpg fresh like my trash cart in the 100-degree sun...
I should have looked at the link. I thought you meant these miniature bombs from Brum. Subtract my "cool" vote.
They just seem pointless- take two basic shapes, customize with knock-off images of someone else's copyrighted characters, and apply hype.
Fat Man and Little Boy are being dropped on Clearance Town: http://www.toymania.com/news/messages/8927.shtml I regret not talking to these guys at San Diego Comic Con, so I could ask the simple question, "What were you THINKING?"
i talked to them at comic con. they offered me a production piece of both the fat man and the little boy figures if i wanted it. i took a look at them and realized the quality of them is terrible. like really cheap plastic. plus, the add ons to the shapes are silly. who the fuck wants a bomb with wings on it?
I voted No. I like the Russian Doll idea of the Starwars figures produced by hot toys much more. However I still won't collect it.
Jesus, those are awful. Tasteless is one thing, but tacky and cheap are another, and I think they have the hat trick right there.
Ran across this old thread. They're still making these, apparently. They're even selling $10 blanks so people can customize them.
