So, did anyone watch the fight?Forrest Griffin is the new champ?WHAT?!I thought for sure Rampage was going to take him out, but Forrest has heart and a chin of steel, he took those uppercuts like a champ. It feels like it was a close fight, but Forrest pushed the fight more in the last round. All in all great fight, and I cant wait for the rematch.

pretty solid card...main event was a great fight. Forrest has a ton of heart and deserves to be champ.

I thought rampage was going to take the decision. Rampage scored a huge knock-down and landed more strikes. I thought Forrest only won the second and last round. IMO you can't win a championship title on leg kicks (the only damage Forrest inflicted).

Not saying I agree with the decision but you can win titles with leg kicks. Tim Sylvia v Arlovski 3 comes to mind. Pedro Rizzo v. Tank Abbott is the best leg kick win I can remember, but not sure if it was a title bout. Not to mention all the Muay Thai belts I have seen change hands because of guys with sickening leg kicks. Just saying, the leg kick may look weak at times, but can be devastating when you're on the business end of it.

Agreed, it is possible to win on leg kicks and has been done many times which I've also seen in the past. I just think that rampage did more damage on Forrest than vice versa. Since leg kicks, a second round takedown, and a few punching strikes are all that Forrest landed, I don't agree with that being enough of a performance to win a championship title. And the fact that Forrest's face was banged up and rampage didn't have a single scratch on him. I called that fight a draw.

Cro Cop vs. Yoshida in the second round of the OWGP in Pride was the best leg kick finish IMO.

Koshceck (sp?) and Lytle was a crazy fight. I'm glad Lytle is in the professional fighting business and not the professional break into my apt and take my shit business. That dude lost so much blood and in the end, he looked to have more vigor than Koshceck.

I was a little surprised about Rampage. the dude must have wrecking balls for fist, but he hardly even dazed Griffin. plus Rampage's legs gave out quite early in the match. Griffin was a character though and a good match. Looking forward to the rematch too.

Anyone see that fight between Melvin and the dude who got knocked the fuck out by Melvin? Me neither. I just went to grab a beer and it was over when I got back.

    Guillard's KO was brutal.
