UGLYCON TOKYO opens October 10th 2008. The show will feature plush, paintings, prints, drawings, show exclusive items, and best of all: Ugly guest star art from an incredible list of our favorite artists from Japan. Oh man, that's the best part for us. I think the square feet are a nod to Muteki Shogun from Kakuranger. Reminds me of the old Power Rangers toys with auto-morphing feature. They were my younger brother's... I swear!
Yeah...I get that...but they do look out of place when you consider that everything else in the figure is round. You can really tell it is referencing that because of the pattern on the body. I still like the figure.
Ah, gotcha. Yeah, I just looked at the print image of Super Puncher and it's more apparent. It would be cool if he made a bigger vinyl figure for this guy to ride around in. Hmm... maybe Robotman would work.
