Looks like I'll be buying my first UNKL toy: http://toysrevil.blogspot.com/2007/09/u ... ieger.html http://www.unklbrand.com/blog/news/makpo-sample/ http://www.unklbrand.com/blog/news/peep-show/ This is a riot.
I can't wait, I saw the prototype at the 2006 SDCC and have been waiting for this bad boy ever since!!!
I like it too. better come with the hazmat pilot. only issue I have is that this thing is gonna be ginormous....
HazMaPo's are a little bit less wide than, but almost the exact same height as a Skull Brain. So, yea, I figure that thing will definitely take up a lot of space (and cost a load). Anything Kow Yokoyama related is awesome. Actually, my first ever "designer toy" was a Snake Eye Maschinen Krieger Kubrick. I had no idea what it was at the time but thought it was cool as shit so I learned more and got into other things.
Jesus, that thing's going to be huge! I met Kow Yokoyama at the last Wonderfest. It was really the worst nervous sweaty stuttering fanboy performance I ever had in front of anyone, but he was very nice and eager to sign my Ma. K. poster (actually a flat box from one of Wave's new kits they were selling at the booth). Due to the language barrier we couldn't communicate much, so I came back later with Matt Alt and basically just bowed slightly and smiled, not much of an improvement. I stink.
Cool behind the scenes video on YouTube: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... qgP03IDzAw Check out that mountain of Ma.k stuff, including that big-ass 1/6 Melusine!
