I am on my 3rd package in a row going through this. Just talked with ISC and asked if after ten years of no issues I am being targeted. They claimed it is not the package but the entire container that must pass through customs before individual package can be scanned. 15 days on the newest item. I hope this doesn't go on all year. Patience is hard with the feds. I want to get a jon there so I can get my toys when they land.

See now I was told by Customs that not every package gets sent to them. Makes sense to me because really the manpower and equipment it would take to run every package entering the US through a customs inspection (not to mention opening and resealing many of them) would be ridiculous. So I guess they have some sort of protocol as to what gets targeted and what doesn't.

USPS enters the picture for every mail item that doesn't go through customs and then everything once customs gets done with the randoms. ISC is their initial point of entry facility before it's sent to a processing center and routed. BUT the post office's fail safe for their lack of man power to process items (due to budget cuts) or for whatever reason they are incapable of getting shit done is ALWAYS to blame customs. It's the kid equivalent to blaming your sibling while we all sit there like parents wondering who is telling the truth.

When hiking trails get shut down I also get different stories from rangers. Some that make no sense some that are straight up legit.

But in favor of the container concept the 2nd hold up was from the east coast and when my item finally arrived I saw other west coast collectors posting their same order the day of or before I received mine. So I had guessed then that all those orders had been held up together, ie container.

Still drives me crazy. We pay a lot for shipping.
