Does anyone here watch the Venture Bro's?It is the best American Cartoon out.I dont think anything the Japanese make can touch this show. Its funny, witty, has great action and so many refernces to Marvel comics, American Pop culture, old Hanna Barbarra cartoons, its great.I just bought the First season DVD and it was worth all 24.99.

I wish they made toys of these guys, I would buy every one of them.

Who's your favorite Character on the show?Mine would be Brock(of course) and Hank in a tie.

it's so insanely good, i have the 2nd season premiere marked on my calendar!
    (June 25th if anyone cares :D )

All the characters are truly awesome... c'mon u know you love Dr. Girlfriend!

but my fave would have to be Brock as well...
hard to believe theres even a standout in such a well drawn, well-acted cast of characters.

Speaking of Adult Swim... anyone else loving Korgath??

    GO TEAM VENTURE!!!!

Sorry, couldn't resist...yes, VB rocks hard. I love Doc Venture himself. He's just so pathetic!

And yes, Korgoth was pretty hilarious...reminded me alot of the first Cerebus arc...and Conan of course...

    Korgoth was good.
I could see a Brock and Hank two pack.

Brock would come with his Bowie knife, and a Led Zepplin tape

And Hank would have his Sombrero and hover bike.

C'mon peeps, geek out and give me your dream V Bro's toys.

does a real life Brock count as a toy?? hehehe AHEM!
he just needs to lose the mullet!

a helper toy would rock, but yeah would be coolest if it had buttons u could push to make him say different things. i have a couple Buzz Lightyears like that.

it would be rad to see the Venture family in their space suits, only with no pee from Dr. Venture please!!

ooh i love the two nerdy cohorts too, the ones that get called in when one of the boys gets his nuts all twisted! they would be rad toys

I like the show, but don't you think this is overstated just a tad? ;p

I really liked the pilot, that knocked me out, but a lot of the subsequent episodes are less of a Johnny Quest parody and more of a running joke about superheroes. Most of the writers are alumni from the excellent Tick cartoon, and it seems like they were just dusting off their unused show concepts and dumping them into VB. Don't get me wrong, it's funny stuff, but I don't know if it belongs there.

Watching the DVDs, though, there are some really great episodes, like the one with Major Tom, and the testicular torsion episode. And Doctor Girlfriend is still WICKET HAWT, even after she talks. ;p

I also think it's hilarious that Brock's license to kill looks just like the old New Jersey driver's license.

The background music is incredible. I wish Foetus would finally release a CD of that material.

When I was a kid all I wanted to watch was Thundarr, it was my favorite cartoon, so when I saw this I knew I would be all over it.

When watching all the episodes and then seeing the pilot, it made me cringe. The pilot had bad editting(IMHO) and the expressions of the characters where not that great or consistent, also the music sucked.

My favorites would have to be the The Trial of The Monarch and Return to Spider Skull Island, but they are all good.

I think VB is on the same level of Greatness as Samuria Champloo, and all the super hero references are what make the show great, America has superheros and Japan has Samuria and Giant Robots, and I think this is the top show that could compete w/any of their top shows.

How about a TS Venture and Johnas Venture Jr. 2 pack, Jhonas would come in his baby form and have a robot body accesorie(sp?)

"Hey if it isn't Capt. Mullet - what'll be Hockey Hair?

VB is the shit! I had all 13 episodes on my Tivo until the DVD came out. Classic old references to a lot of Pop culture fromk the 60's, 70's up til today. Six Million Dollar man/Bigfoot, Brisbey/Disney/Busy Bee/Mickey Mouse!

The Tick was a great show also but the Venture Bros. takes it to another level! More "adult" themes and taboo images - actually showing bad guys getting killed like we all knew they did on Saturday Morning TV. I really can't pick out a fave character - they all have their own little perks I like. The writing is good and it is the dialouge that makes the show.

As for Toys - I know Palisades had optioned the show to make figures but haven';t heard anything in a year. I was working for a company that was trying to get the license but we were told Palisades had "taken" it. They are the same folks who made the Adult Swim line last year.
