Mix of vintage and modern (mostly vintage so throwing it up here; besides, the modern is vintage-style :D ). Some Marusans, Bullmarks, bootlegs, and others.

Nice haul. I'm immediately going to gravitate to the left hand corner to that Popy Clear V3, since it's the one I really need. Wish I bit on that Marusan repro Gosura.

Thanks. I lost out on one that ended a week prior, and luckily this popped up and ended for less (although I think the other had a scarf). I also tried for the other KR vinyl, but that one seems to be going for a lot more lately. Maybe because that was only sold as a boxed figure with the rock? Or was it also sold separately bagged? I forget now.

All right, these aren't all so new to me, and have built up over a while, but I haven't shown them here yet so what the heck. Since I used these all for the mystery shot I can give anyone who would like a 'reveal' shot of the group. (Bonus patchi dinosaur/Jirass KO included)

I saw a standard light blue version of Gigan on my vacation actually. It was pretty beat up though. It was in some small vintage shop in PA that sold kitchy stuff and they had three vintage japanese toys. A beat up non removable mask Redman, a bootleg V3 with a Rainbowman mask on him (had to laugh at that!), and the Gigan. I was interested in the Gigan till I saw $195 price tag. For the condition I had to pass. Thanks internet for making everyone even in the smallest of towns think everything is worth a mint (I mean this shop was literally in the middle of nowhere and me and the gf just stopped for shits an giggles). No bargains to be found ever! I was just amazed to see vintage kaiju in the wild- that never happened to me before.

Love this mid size though Jordan!

Long time since I did this:

Can't believe it took me this long to acquire one! Very very soft vinyl and of course his sly eye expression only adds to the utter charm.

Excellent! I am surprised it took you this long too, but it was worth the wait I am sure. Your new 'seven is going to fit right in perfectly on your shelf (once you get the room of course!). He is such a great figure, everyone should have one. Yours is in really nice shape too, good paint overall, and no 'yellowing' to the head grey, which a few of these often seem to suffer from.

Great buy, I love it. So glad to see him join your vintage family. :)

Already have him jammed in that case. ;) Took some re-arranging but I ultimately got him in there and I'm happy. Don't know why it took me so long, I was just waiting for a decent priced one NOT on YJA (that always leads to me buying 10 more toys). It took me 5 years to do detolf lighting so....

Incidentally, what have you figured out for detolf lighting, Chris? That's something I've been thinking about for quite a while...

He figured out it is a lot of work. ;)

Starts here roughly, or skip ahead to the final result.

And may I say here, very nice work. Excellent soft lighting you achieved, and really does your wondrous shelves of toys justice. No toys, but quite possibly some young punks, were harmed in the undertaking of this no doubt rage-inducing endeavour.

No toys were harmed (surprisingly since I'm very accident prone) but I did harm myself quite a few times....

Oh and maybe I screamed out the window a few times at my yuppie neighbors bratty kids aged all around 8-11 who obviously were never taught that: it's a tightly packed neighborhood- screaming at the top of your child lungs for 2 hrs straight while splashing in a pool will induce severe annoyance in a misanthropic scrooge like myself. Control those brats I say, but they won't because no one believes in discipling children anymore (you don't need to be physical just show them who's boss) and everyone thinks telling kids no these days hurts their special self esteem because every kid is so special today  This is the same neighbor who had over a $100,000 work done to his house and had the loudest chatty workers doing the work all while I was studying for final exams last year. I had to walk over and politely ask him to tell them to keep it down. I hate all my neighbors but I digress....

Very cool Steve. I havent seen the pachi Jiras in that magenta before. Also partial to twin tails.

Chris- glad you scored that standard ultraseven. Thats one of the best examples of that character.

This one was building up for a while. The baltan and the poison eel have taken me years to get.

    That's the poison eel Connell.

Jonathan so glad you finally got the Cave Ruler standard. That's a tough one to find (well it was for me then about 20 appeared after I got mine!) Best of the Tiger Mask toys IMO. I really dig the Kumo Otoko sparker- I want one of those!

Great birthday present! ;) Nice lot.

And Lixx, good grab on the Ultra7. I have yet to add any variation to my collection! I tried for one on ebay not too long ago but lost. Slowing down majorly, so it will have to wait for a while, I guess.
