trying to get the walder effect on this marmit frankenstein looking for any suggestions with this one. (as with all my customs, huh? ) i like the effect i got on the head - i put on a really thick coat of silver and left it sitting for a couple days. then the black coat was put on thin and wiped/brushed off with a little thinner on a rag. i guess the silver on the hands was a little too thin - some blue has peeked through on the fingertips all in all i like how this looks, but i wanted to see if anyone had ideas of more color to add or something, please feel free to share
Damn Pickle this is Sickness !!! Dont change a thing ...even the blue finger tips rule!!! Trade it to me ?!?!?
thanks guys as for guts, what could they be made of? would sculpey be too heavy? i worry too that you would have trouble seeing them because of the heavy texture on the surface of the figure
Guts are so 07...played out.....but LEDs might be cool with this spray....fuck I want it just as it is!
For a Frankenstein look, you could paint up a chunk of another toy in the same style, then stick it in it's stomach. A spare leg or arm or something. It would be like they had an extra part at the graveyard and stuck it in there for safe keeping. well... I think it would be cool.
That technique on the head seems like it would be hard to pull off and make it look as good as you did. Pretty sweet.
