I just watched it... I was shocked... It looks good and pretty spot on. But how, how are they going to fit all that story into a movie?

Hm, I really don't want to be pessimistic about this adaptation, but ... that gawdawful trip-hop song needs to go. Plus, while it was visually interesting, I thought "300" was basically a bad movie, so I'm not crazy about the choice of directors. Too soon to get a real vibe about the flick though. Thanks for posting the link.

Think the acid house era "bleeding happy face" t-shirts will make a big return next summer?

That IS the question, isn't it? I don't imagine they're going to try to squeeze all the different storylines in. That would probably take more than one movie, if anyone could pull it off at all. So much about the comic was literary. But then, the same was true of Lord of the Rings, so we shall see...

I really don't see why they aren't making this 2 movies. It can be done, Kill Bill is a great example, everyone complains because they like vol 1 or 2, but to me it's one movie. 2 movies would be perfect.

To me Watchman should never be made. I love the watchmen. I find new things everytime I read it but it shouldn't be made into a film.

After they made League of Extraordinary Gentlemen I was hoping they would never ever make another Allen Moore movie. V was alright, I wish they did more with the leader in the movie. This looks good, but I can't help but be weary of it.

God...the league...what the hell were they thinking when they made that. The books are so awesome too.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but until I walk out of the theater, I'm not going to have any hope for this.

That annoying trip*hop song reminds me of Radiohead... overdramatic and pushed too far.

Sure does look like it got taken down. RealPlayer downloaded it without my even knowing it. I don't think I should re-upload it ... the last thing I need is MPAA suits making threats.

Radiohead? Really? Sounds like Billy Corrigan to me. anyway, the trailer looks good and I hope to god that song is just filler and isn't indicative of the actual score.

Sounds like the site released the trailer a day early, so they pulled it for now...

it's still available on a few sites and will be in front of The Dark Knight supposedly.

The song is by smashing pumpkins/billy corrigan.

If you haven't read the tpb it's one of the greatest comics made.

Cool, same here. Haven't read 'em since the release, but still have all the originals MIB. Good to hear that it holds up.

The only others I have reread over time is: The Dark Knight, Yummy Fur, and The Invisibles. I am going to redo V for Vendetta next. The Invisibles you can redo yearly and always gain something new from it. A definate hypnosis on the pyche.

If have time..please read it. It makes 90% of the comics look and read like crap. It's complex...sometimes dry but once you get down with it you won't regret it. It's practically one of the only comics you can give to non comic readers and they love it.

I used to work in a comic book store when it was coming out... Watchmen #12, and Dark Knight Returns #4 both came out on the same day. It was nuts.
