They sound like a Sisters of Mercy tribute act! Rewind 30 years! That said, having just listened to most of the last couple of pages, it's become obvious that my taste in music no longer fits the Skullbrain demographic . . . and I can live with it.
Oh, big time Sisters of Mercy rip, but it’s more so that it was tolerable. She didn’t like SoM and only listened to the same three Bauhaus songs. I could only show her the way, not force her to walk the righteous path.
It's October so let's party like you're still in highschool and found your "cool" uncle's cd collection.
new Suffocation album is gonna be insane, what a year for metal! this is wicked, loads of good new thrash this year too....
@doomboy Dude, that Enforced track RIPS!!! Man, that’s goin’ on the gym jams list. New Cryptopsy slaughters, too. Lyrical content is a bit lackluster and contrived, but musically it’s insane. I also throw in the new Sentenced 2 Die album Parasitic Infection.
@xSuicide Squadx Deffo digging Sentenced 2 Die. Properly gnarly and dramatic. Just checking the new Autopsy album. Sounding great, really nice warm mixdown.
Hardcore outfit Twitching Tongues from California dressed up as The Twitchfits for Halloween and performed all Misfits covers at The Midnight Hour. Following the successful reaction to their set they dropped a recorded cover EP simply titled Vol. 1. Probably one of the funnest listens I’ve had in years. The live set at The Midnight Hour.
The guy behind one of my absolute favorite bands, Zeal and Ardor, returned to his original project Birdmask and has new songs hitting in the past week. I'm pretty tickled for new material, and it's a bonus that I like it, ha!
Sick in bed with the flu, listening to the old “Suspense” radio programs. A classic… if you want to watch…
I used to listen to these all the time on a podcast channel on the apple pod app called “oh the horror!” This has inspired me to dip my toes into those radio dramas again!
