Japanese denim. This will probably seem as crazy to most people on this board as buying 4" vinyl toys for $75 does to most people not on the board but I thought I would share anyway. These Dungarees are hand sewn and dyed. The fabric is woven in a shuttle loom; ring/ring with left handed twill and weighs in at an amazing 14.25 ounces. Only natural indigo dyes are used for color. Sugarcane fibers were incorporated in the weave to make them more elastic and more durable. (I shake with pleasure just typing that.) These are possibly the highest quality pair of Dungarees (don't you dare call them jeans) that have ever been made. They cost $500 but they are so worth it.
