Yep, Japanese vinyl saved my life... it was too expensive supporting both a vinyl and $2000 a week cocaine habit. :D

I've read the boards since day 1, but until the horror skullwing list started I didn't have a reason to post. Frank had every last fight figure essentialy, some of the heads had been collecting leisurely off Rough, etc. for the pre issue 9 prices, and not having certain key figures made me feel like a second tier collector. Unless my memory is faulty it was a little easier before to get to the goodies via email as opposed to pm. Its kinda resigning yourself to failure trying to have a serious SB collection without rocking the boards now. Not having posted or read any other messageboards I had no idea about introducing yourself or anything like that. Thats my 2 cents.

I'm not sure why anyone cares what a person on a message board cares about them or their collection.. good or bad..

message boards can be a massive headache to break into... and unless you know you are really devoted to something, it's often not necessary.

i think lurking as cool, as long as it's not in a parasitic way.

I just went over a hundred posts. I have only been collecting SB figures pretty much seriously since March. I had a few I had purchased on-line when I was in Florida, but now that I'm in Japan that is my main obsession.
I use to collect Living Dead dolls until they got super gay, then I moved on to Toyer figures and such, but now it's all SB.
I have a ton of KR and Toy2r figures that I will be trying to unload once my house hold goods arrive in Japan.

There are a lot of figures out there so someone is always going to have something nice here and there, but I really had to limit myself and come on most of the stuff Toy2r had out for ComicCon looked really lame.

yup, it was like jackie was saying (and was getting ignored) that QC appears to be plaguing a lot of releases. And these aren't cheap.

see this is why I like it over here...everyone is really cool!

Just ordered my first stuff from S7...the addiction has moved forward in a new direction!

I picked up a Barcelona calli and I'm really not digging it at all.
Thankfully mine had no issues with it, other than just being boring.
