was trying to think up some ideas for different cocktails this year and thought it would be a fun thread. mines not so much a mixer... i love champagne, anything decent, dry and tasty... none of that cheap sweet champagne substitute stuff though! like my mom likes this stuff called asti spumanti?? *vomit*
Pour a little pomegranate juice in the bottom of a martini glass, and shake some lemonade and vodka with ice and pour on top. Looks like liquid christmas.
oooh that sounds really yummy! thats right up my alley, thanks hillsy! i don't do mixed drinks often, and i can't handle martinis and the like
Let's get Teutonic! Gluehwein Ingredients: 1 L red wine 125 ml water 60 gr sugar 1 cinnamon stick 3 cloves 1 tblsp lemon peel Mixing instructions: Boil sugar and spices in water, leave in the water for 30 minutes. Strain the spiced water and mix with the wine. Heat slowly until short of boiling temperature. Add lemon or orange juice to taste. Serve in a mug. Enjoy!
This is the time of year that I chase whiskey with whiskey. Bourbon shots chased with ginger ale and scotch on the rocks!
I'm not Swedish but I love to drink some glog for the holidays. I used to have a roommate that made it every year. Must make it with everclear though. Makes you feel all warm inside.
