In the spirit of this board being a worldwide community I thought it might be interesting to have a thread like this. There are a ton of artists/toy makers who were all over the place - illustrators with constant features in Juxtapoz.. Maybe super hyped toymakers in the early days of Skullbrain. Maybe some of us might still be following their careers and can shed some light on what they have been upto? (disclaimer - sure it's easy to just Google names but this thread can also help us share names of artists that aren't getting a lot of attention at the moment)

One guy who comes to mind is Sam Flores.. some of my first vinyl toys were by Sam. His animal hoodie characters were super rad.. actually just got reminded of his artwork after seeing somebody on my FB feed ripping off his style.

Another artist who I wish I saw more work from these days is Arbito of Patty Power fame.. Any locals know what he has been upto lately?

What ever happened to Cronic? :? I have two of his fight figs and I really love that you can rotate the fists.

Funny you mention Arbito. He just posted a few things on IG. He is super cool. I know he took a break for a bit when I last saw him when he was here in SF (years ago). I guess his break is over.
    Sam Flores is still active.
Cronic stopped years ago. Last I heard, he wanted to do more art than toys. His last blog entry was back in 09. Dunno what art he is making. I wish I knew. Maverasu is one of my favorites (I call it Yonchinchin as a bit of a joke with a friend of mine). Ankoron is also great. The expression on the face is too funny and Zyurai Asu is awesome. The drawings he's done are just as great.
