CE version seems really nice. You get a different suit and a new weapon. There's also a scale replica of the good, old plasma cutter, soundtrack, and a copy of Dead Space Extraction (Move compatible). The Zealot Force gun and suit are DLC. I didn't realize DS2 supports multiplayer. I haven't read anything about the multiplayer so not sure how good it is but the single player should be great.
yea, ive been thinking about the CE, but never pre ordered it on time.... so now i gotta wait a week or so til the people that did pre order drop out so i can snag theirs. im a sucker for collectors/limited edition versions of games for all the gimmicks and toys they come with, especially art books
Are you playing it on the Wii? Or at least an emulator, if your playing it on an NES it will probably be on for like 2 weeks.
I am playing Red Dead Redemption and Nate's picking up our copy of Dead Space 2 tomorrow. I have also been playing Plants vs Zombies again on my non gold membership account. Can't wait to see DS2!
Finishing the second loop of G&G, now THAT takes balls! My hats off to you. That games great but drives me insane. Ive been playing a lot of Donkey Kong Country returns for the Wii, one of the best (and hardest) things ive played in a while. Also Cave Story for WiiWare is pretty great.
Three weeks until Marvel versus Capcom 3 comes out, so I've been brushing up with MvC2 lately. Also, Donkey Kong Country for the Wii is turning out to be a nice little diversion as well.
Good old plasma cutter is still the best gun in DS!! It looks SOOO much better than DS1. New Zealot suit is pretty cool looking.
Still Red Dead Redemption. It won video game of the year 2010 by IGN. Now that I've attained the highest level multiplayer 5th Legend Level 50 been playing Gang Matches to try to unlock all the Golden Guns/Titles. I spend at least 20 hours a week doing this so if you see me on PS3 I'm Lixx68. Some friends ask me if I'll play anything else to which I say "Why bother? It's the best game ever invented?!" I mean seriously. Open World killing people old school western style and it looks amazing. sometimes I just wander the maps finding cool nooks to hang in.
My brother and I are gonna split the cost of a copy of Dead Space 2 soon...I can't wait, I can only play the demo so many times. From the demo, though, I love what they've done for zero-G movement, and that you can see the total amount of ammo you have through the weapon select display rather than having to open your inventory Recently fired up Painkiller for the first time in a while. old PC FPS KILL FUCKIN' EVERYTHING bloody time-waster sort of game My main thing for a long time now though has been Stepmania, which is a REAL waste of time. I should be playing real Dance Dance Revolution like I used to, I'm heavier than I've ever been and it helped me lose weight before. Instead lately I've been playing it on the keyboard, one hand on the arrows and one on WSAD. It's fun as hell and I'm pretty good, I did the math and on one particular song I was hitting 8 or so notes per second, but I can definitely do a bit more than that.
I beat Enslaved a couple of nights ago, and was kinda bummed. The ending really didn't live up to the rest of the game at all. I know a lot of people throw around the whole "worst ending ever" thing a lot, but I kind of really feel like this one takes the cake. I'm torn between this ending and the ending to Fallout 3 as to which one I like less, but regardless they're both pretty similar/crappy. The whole rest of the game was a blast though! Things just started getting a really REALLY tacked on, "oh shit we need to wrap this up, guys" kind of feeling after chapter 11 or so. I'm gonna play Vanquish next, I already started it a while ago and love it already, so I'm psyched to play it all the way through. I was playing Borderlands but kind of lost interest about half way through. I am MEGA PSYCHED to pick Dead Space 2 up once I'm done with Vanquish!
Dead Space 2 is even more intense than the first, which I loved. Really enjoy the few moments of quiet here and there to look out the windows at the city. Beautiful game.
I thought that it was Ghouls 'n Ghosts that you beat twice - not the original Ghosts 'n Goblins Also, you can still fuck up, not get the bracelet, and wind up with the SAME ending twice - no? On the topic of Makaimura, Wii's Virtual Console recently dropped the original arcade version of Ghosts 'n Goblins in case you didn't buy the NES version yet. I got the 25th Anniversary Mario All-Stars, and SMB2 is the only game I've played so far - but that doesn't mean I'm any good. Finally bought a PS3 & all I've been playing lately is Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, and of course MvC2. Anybody else play Tatsunoko vs Capcom, or Marvel vs Capcom 2? I'd love to do some matches against people I may actually know. My PSN ID is aCrabRangoon & I'd be happy to swap Nintendo Friend Codes for some TvC, Mario Kart Wii, or Goldeneye.
^^^^ Trust me you have to HAVE TO beat the original ghost n goblins twice to get the real ending. We did it, we have photo proof, we have the tears in buckets that we kept. I think all G&G's games you have to beat twice to get the real ending, which is cruel and unusual, but you didn't need the goddess bracelet until Ghouls and super ghouls.
Gotcha, I did it on Ghouls (I took pics too - so people would believe me), but still haven't finished the 4th stage in the original G&G so I wouldn't know that it applied to all titles. One day, though..
Came accross an older game for the Wii that I hadn't heard of before called Muramasa: The Demon Blade. Kinda cool Yokai slaying platformer with the original Japanese language dialogue intact (so no crappy dub!).
This game is great! One of my favorites for the Wii. Some really amazing art and character design there.
They're actually remaking Muramasa in HD for the PS3 along with Odin Sphere (PS2). Both are great games, made by the same developer.
that was awesome, watched it earlier today! I'm still heavily into black ops but bulletstorm is looking really good, i miss this kind of over the top fps action. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ty1H29WMgkE
