I tried Skyrim and to be honest I'm not half way impressed so far... Bit of an incongruent storyline as I killed a store owner's wife in front of him only to finish up accepting a quest from the say guy five minutes later with no reaction from him whatsoever... I was expecting something more from the mighty Skyrim... Might as well go back to Demon's Souls or Dark Souls...
Also playing this. The first two were some of the best low-brow fun I've had on a console. The third doesn't disappoint. Finally picked up Splatterhouse as well - a couple of years late on this one, I know. Fun button masher though. Tons of gore and some cool looking cut-scenes.
DOWNLOAD AN NES EMULATOR AND PLAY THIS FOREVER http://gaijinnokinema.blogspot.com/2011 ... -home.html its so fun. and should appeal to most everyone
revisiting Starcraft as my journey through SC2 was cut short when I accidentally destroyed the only machine I have capable of playing it at all. never beat the first one without cheating when I was a kid I don't think. revisiting LUNAR: Silver Star Story Complete for the same reason (used a gameshark on one particular boss because I was a lazy brat). also, LUNAR 2: Eternal Blue is amazing, so much better than the first, but I've played that through enough times (and without cheats) that I felt I should definitely do the first properly first before another play.
glad i could turn some people onto it! its hard as anything- i played around with a walkthrough i found on youtube.
I'm debating on picking up a Vita, or waiting till the price drops. The main sell for me is the new Lumines. I clocked in HOURS upon hours with the first one on the PSP launch. and this one, according to reviews, sounds like its recaptures that experience.
I'm thinking of picking one up for the upcoming MGS collection... would love to have them on a HD handheld. Tried Dynasty Warriors Next at a friend's place, looked great, especially that small.
Oh yeah, and I would load it up with Metal Gear too. Plus Ridge Racer and Wipeout are also great time-wasters. Man, again, might wait for price drop but I am a Sony-whore and will be suckered in soon.
the vita is a great system. i would recommend waiting though. there arent that many good games on it right now so its kind of a waste. right now my vita is only being used for netflix and UMVC3.
I just got back from a lunch break at the mall. Checked out the PS Vita and played the Wipeout demo. Holy cow. The screen is HUGE and CRYSTAL clear, and the graphics are almost distracting because they look so good. Its literally almost a Portable PS3. Or PS2.5. Its light, and the buttons are slick, along with the sticks. Touchscreen is smooth, and its a bit bigger than the original PSP. I'm interested, but at the same time, will wait for price drop. I think the Vita is incredible, but it looks like it could fall victim of not having a big library of games. We'll see...
Yes, the probable grandaddy of the Biohazard series - so good. It wasn't until recent times that an English translation of the game was made available! It's very unforgiving, if a character dies, they are gone for good. No retry or re-load from checkpoint - RFSO!
I'm about to go see if any local places broke the street date. I'm not hoping for much, but there's always a chance.
i know some places in LA broke street date. My bro ended up picking me up a copy on thursday. are you going to play online?
