With the trophy patch I started playing MGS4. I realize I am terrible at that game, but it's so much fun.
I'm doing the exact same thing. And dying a lot. Also started playing ultimate mvc3 again. Getting dominated online.
whoever is responsible for announcing hexagon- i hate you/love you i just scored 157:14 and i felt so zen after a while. then really irritated when i messed up.
Truly, you are the master. I'm honestly relieved that somebody can get that far. Makes me feel better about humanity as a whole. Going through my SNES classics - I played through Super Metroid, Yoshi's Island, and Secret of Mana. Now I'm onto Castlevania IV... FOR THOSE INTERESTED!
Playing Half-Life 2 again for about the 12th time since it was released...what, a decade ago? Still incredible in all areas of design. I'd love to talk to the developers, might have to go back and find the art book for this one.
I haven't seen much on the new CS, but I hear its going to be glorious. I am still stuck on Diablo 3 myself.
http://games.adultswim.com/super-house- ... -game.html Sometimes adult swim makes really cool games. This is one of them. It's harder to compare something to it, but I guess Castlevania (the newer ones) meets Ninja Gaiden meets the typical browser game (unlockables and skill trees). It's twitchy and difficult and very fun. Thought you guys might want to check it out.
I am not sure Diablo 3 will run on my system, so I never made the jump. But I just reloaded Daiblo I (also plan to get up 2 soon) for my sons to play. Played it through once myself, and it was still fun. My wife got hooked again and has not stopped playing it, running through every character class and the expansion pack too. LOL.
I only needed to play through Diablo 3 once to realise it wasn't for me.. I find the whole farming for loot thing really unsatisfying especially with the way the auction house works. So happy I didn't bother buying a new desktop pc to play it. Back to the PS3 and I've Finally started playing Uncharted 2. I'm a few years late but there's an unopened copy of Uncharted 3 waiting for me too.
Diablo III was really disappointing. not the farming for loot aspect necessarily (did you not play 1 or 2 !?), for me it was just the bad itemization. from normal to inferno, I saw all of 1 legendary item drop and 0 uniques. Supposedly Blizzard increased the quality of drops in the new patch that went live last night. I gave up when I found myself playing the auction house more than the game itself.
this +1 I enjoyed the game up to lvl 60 and then realized that it was veering towards a WoW type thing and called it a day. the new mode is ok, but not as great. Also, whoever posted the CN ninja thing, thanks a bunch I have no life now. lol. Great little game.
As soon as I heard about Diablo 3 being online only, I was skeptical, but it was Diablo! How could it go wrong? Easy. For me, having to be online actually became more of a problem than I thought it could be, and that's a shame. I can't remember how many times I magically couldn't connect to battlenet. Oh, and House of Dead Ninjas is some serious gaming. I was surprised by it, and I'm glad you're a slave to it like I've been haha.
I see your point, but have you seen patch 1.0.4? It is literally a game changer. The amount of legendary items you run into on inferno, even on hell is absurd. They added the Paragon leveling system, and toned down some of the shittier aspects of the game. Give it a second chance, just download the new patch. Also the online thing gets everyones panties in a bunch. At least you dont have to pay for it monthly, and they only do it that way so they can constantly check what needs fixin'
Also, I did have problems in the beginning with Battle.net, and connectivity and whatnot. However Blizzard has really come through with each new patch. I no longer have any connectivity issues, and Battle.net is running smooth all the time. As I said before give it a second chance guys.
Been watching my fiance play yoshis island (hence the new avatar). Anyone else have this? We've gotten two copies now and they bought restart randomly. Pretty annoying.
