Just picked up Joe Danger. I haven't had a chance to mess around with the level editor but I hear it's awesome, as is the rest of the game. If you have $14.99 lying around, do yourself a favor and pick this up, especially if you like Excitebike or Trials HD (I hear they're similar, but I haven't played that one).
Well, aside from being the best paperweight ever, Twisted Metal is coming. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGTm3YhOJTA
Bioshock 2 on the PS3 I recently reinstalled FEAR just for the heck of it. It's been a while since I played a first person shooter using a mouse and keyboard. I forgot how much more I prefer that setup to a controller.
I just picked up a 360 and I'm super excited to get fallout 3! Maybe I'll have time to play it in September.
I put 120 hours into Fallout 3. September is just in time for the release of Fallout New Vegas!!! So good luck with all that
muscle march for wii!! it makes me feel weird. the game entails taking a spandex wearing muscle person and running them through walls over and over and over again and trying to make sure your second muscley person makes it through the same muscle man shaped hole the first guy left. sometimes you get to run on rainbows! ...
Did this just hit the US? I remember videos from months back but thought it was Japan only? Damn, a reason to unpack the Wii! I just can't get set on a keyboard/mouse set up. I grew up on consoles so maybe that's it? I like the mouse part, but I always lose my left hand on the keyboard. I'll hit something while playing thinking I'm changing weapons or some shit then totally NOT change weapons and crouch then die cause' I screwed up. I ALWAYS hit the wrong key when using the keyboard. I can get my WASD and space bar straight, but anything else screws me.
Hahaha...kids. Learn to play on mouse/keyboard. You move so much faster Since we're posting weird games.... http://nigoro.jp/game/mekuri/index.php disclaimer: you might not want to be playing this at work
NOT WHEN YOU HIT THE WRONG KEY AND JUMP INSTEAD OF RELOAD DIE ARRGH! Maybe I should re-configure the controls to use keys that make sense to me (but probably no one else!)?
I just played Thermo Nuclear War on MW2. Never had so much fun playing MW2 until today. I hope this becomes a regular game mode.
I just bought 3 games last week. Red Dead Redemption (Haven't opened it yet) Blur (Can't stop playing the online multiplayer) Batman Mayhem (in 3D) (Its ok, not as good as all the reviews - prob I give it an 8 the most, rather than 9 or 10 in some cases)
honestly you'll probbly be plyin it until next sept, in addition to the new one coming out the end of the year! vegas is looking to be rather awesome
It takes time so just stick with it. Outlaws was the first game I played using a mouse and keyboard. I hated it and wanted to go back to the keyboard only controls of Doom. Still, I stuck with it because I was hell bent on circle strafing a chicken. Remapping the controls will probably help you a lot. Honestly, I see no difference between learning to use a keyboard or a controller. You either learn how to use the fourteen buttons on a controller or a handful of keys on a keyboard.
My older brother played a lot of the first Modern Warfare on X360...then played on the PC. He's pretty good to begin with. Usually top 3 in every game but when he went to PC, his laugh became more sinister cause it was just too easy for him to kill people. He would end up with a KD ratio of 7:1 or higher.
Playing Crysis Warhead. The first one was good and this one is just as good. The aliens scared the hell outta my friend in the first one. We were all sitting around and all of a sudden we hear "WTF WAS THAT!!!!!" and him standing up and about 3 feet away from his chair. Yeah...we made fun of him for the rest of the day.
did you make the car from deathproof too? hahah damn that character is awesome. i really need to pick up mod nation
haha. yea. i made my own death proof version of the car (camaro) from the posters and added a blower.
